Ok. I feel rather emphatic about this post. You will soon understand why as I will speak about this subject repeatedly. America's Test Kitchen. Why, well because I love them!
And because I have cooked hundreds of their recipes time and time again. Ok, maybe not hundreds of times but very very close. If you saw the 3" stack of their recipes sitting in my office, you would understand.
We have a subscription to their website that as routine during Saturday mornings coffee and before we go to our local Farmers Market I look for new recipes to cook during the weekend. It's a ritual while enjoying our Saturday coffee. I particularly enjoy telling Claudia "Why this recipe works" in my radio voice.
We've been able to get fresh berries for quite some time this season and is a part of our regular farmers market purchases. Always the Strawberries and whatever looks in season.
So, I'm enjoying my Nespresso and Monin Hazelnut syrup coffee in our herb garden and looking through ATK recipes and found this recipe for the "Mixed Berry Buckle". Oh, hell yes! See, Daddy get's his desert once a week and Daddy is going to have his Mixed Berry Buckle this week.
And Daddy did! And believe me you want this!
