Sous Vide makes it delicious!

I wanted to share that I began Sous Vide cooking last year and it is a staple method we use regularly. What is Sous Vide? Well let me tell you my friends! Sous Vide cooking is a method that gently cooks your food in a hot water bath at a constant temperature. We'll discuss the how and what a bit later.

Oh, and for those of you who have cooked Tri Tip before and perhaps cooked them on the grill...listen up.

Once I started using the Sous Vide method, particularly with Beef, I never looked back. Now mind you I love to grill and have gotten pretty good at it. However, grilling does have it's drawbacks. Paying attention and missing the perfect cook because you are entertaining. Nobody likes overcooked BBQ'd meat after all.

So, for a perfect cook on those Tri Tip's use the Sous Vide. I'll prepare the Tri Tip and place it in a bag and set it in the Sous Vide cooker for as long as 8 hours or even overnight. Set your temperature at 133 degrees and walk away. When you are ready place it on the grill for some browning or even a pan on the stove for some basting and you are deliciously set.

I can say that with all honesty I will never cook any beef without Sous Vide first. Trust me you want to learn how to do this.

This last weekend we Sous Vide some Pork Tenderloins. This meat doesn't have a lot of fat and can get pretty dry. Let me tell you my friends these Pork Tenderloins we done to perfection.

Bon Appetit!
